Vintage French Posters

For collectors finding favor with La Belle Epoque (the "Beautiful Era"), the period of French history dating from approximately 1871-1914, we've assembled a very nice collection of vintage French posters. This includes original antique lithograph posters as well as fine replicas of original vintage poster art, beautifully printed in Paris at the famed Mourlot studio.

This 40+ year period was a time of peace in Europe and France's "Third Republic," filled with new discoveries in technology and science. The prosperity in Paris allowed for a flourishing of the arts and the Belle Epoque posters featured here are, in part, a testament to the exhibitions, operas, theater productions, concerts, and large spectacles like the Moulin Rouge and The Folies Bergere taking place at the time. Here you'll find a selection of more than 100 turn-of-the-century posters from artists such as Ibels and Rochegrosse, and many from modern Masters such as Chagall, Miro, Braque, Leger, Dufy, Picasso and Matisse.
