Minimalist, Hard Edge & Op Art Prints

The 1950s and '60s ushered in a period in the art world where American artists enjoyed a growing influence, beginning with the development of the Abstract Expressionism Movement in New York in 1946. This movement gave way to the opposing Minimalism Art Movement, also originating in New York during the 1960s, and Hard Edge Art, which came from California in the late '50s. Optical Art, or Op Art, also made its debut around this same time and was something completely new, using abstract contrast and patterns to present an optical illusion to the viewer.

We have collected hundreds of works featuring Hard Edge artists, Minimalist prints and Op Art prints. We also offer a nice Minimalist lithograph selection from artists such as Ellsworth Kelly and Op Art by Victor Vasarely, silkscreens by Josef Albers and woodcuts from Jean Arp. You'll also find some beautiful, signed original lithographs from artist Paul Mansouroff.
